OAS is responsible for planning, awarding and administering contracts for the Agency, including issuing and interpreting acquisition regulations; administering training for contracting and program acquisition personnel; providing advice and oversight to regional procurement offices; and providing information technology improvements for acquisition.
Systalex provides support to IT Systems Support Branch (ITSSB) including PM, data/systems analysis, reporting, help desk support, etc. in support of various acquisitions systems. In the past we provide DBA and LAN support, including establishing DR/COOP sites, consolidating and virtualizing environments into EPA's NCC, and then migrating systems into EPA's AWS cloud environment - migrating the support to OMS.
