Systalex Signs Contracts with the Environmental Protection Agency
Worth Over $3.5 Million

Company to Provide LAN Support and Purchase Card Services
to the Office of Acquisition Management

9 October, 2007, Rockville, MD – Systalex Corporation, a leading information and IT solutions provider and the 4th ranked Small Technology Business in the DC metro area by the Washington Business Journal, today announced the award of two separate contracts with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) to provide Purchase Card and database, system, and application development support services. The contracts have a combined value of over $3.5 million.

The first contract covers a three-month project to develop additional functionality to the new on-line Government Purchase Card system for OAM, built, launched, and supported by Systalex. Government Purchase Cards are an invaluable tool in supporting EPA requirements. The solution is designed to deliver a system accessible via the EPA intranet, where each purchase is listed and recorded in a central database within the structure of the Incident Command System, and used on a government-wide basis. In addition, the new system is mandatory for Incidents of National significance, meets EPA policy requirements to maintain a purchase card log, and can be an option for any cardholder at any time.

The second contract is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide project management services, maintenance and support of OAM applications, maintenance and support of OAM’s LAN infrastructure, and database administration support for OAM’s databases. The contract includes an initial period of performance of 12 months, followed by two additional option years.
