Company to Provide Financial Management Support Services
to NIST, NOAA and the U.S. Census Bureau
27 August, 2007, Rockville, MD – Systalex Corporation, a leading information and IT solutions provider and the 4th ranked Small Technology Business in the DC metro area by the Washington Business Journal, today announced that it signed three separate contracts with individual bureaus of the Department of Commerce (DoC) to provide functional and technical financial management system support services. The three contracts, with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the U.S. Census Bureau (Census), have a combined value of over $9 million.
Most recently, Systalex has been providing information management and federal financial management services to the DoC, NIST, NOAA and Census under the Commerce Financial Enterprise Business System (CFEBS) contract. These new contracts are designed to provide these bureaus with continued support while preparing for DoC’s planned Financial Management Modernization Project scheduled for fiscal year 2009.
As a result of their long standing association with NIST, NOAA, Census and the entire DoC, Systalex – along with partners Enterprise Systems Engineering, LSB Inc., and Accenture – possess a deep understanding of each organization’s environment, systems, priorities, needs, issues, and concerns.
