Systalex Awarded SeaPort-e Prime Contract from the US Navy
May 30, 2007, Rockville, MD – Systalex Corporation, a leading information and IT solutions provider and the 4th ranked Small Technology Business in the DC Metro Area by the Washington Business Journal, today announced that it has been selected to provide engineering, financial and program management support services to the United States Navy and Marine Corps as a prime contractor via the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) contract.
Systalex will deliver System Design Documentation and Technical Data Support; Configuration Management Support; Quality Assurance Support (Systalex maintains a CMMI Level 2 Corporate Rating); Information System Development, Information Assurance, and Information Technology Support; and Program Support services to the Navy’s Virtual SYSCOM Commanders (NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP and SPAWAR) in the National Capital, Mid-Atlantic and Southwest zones. In addition, a growing number of other Navy activities, including the Military Sealift Command, Strategic Systems Programs, and Office of Naval Research are choosing to use SeaPort-e.
