Systalex Deploys Business Intelligence Infrastructure
Rockville, MD, June 24, 2005 – Systalex Corporation has completed the installation, configuration, and initial setup of a web-enabled business intelligence (BI) and analytics infrastructure in its Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS) Computing Center. The ATS Computing Center is located at the HQ offices in Rockville, MD. The BI tools build on Systalex’s data warehousing expertise, OLAP skills, and system integration knowledge. Business Objects Web Intelligence provides an easy-to-use interface with powerful query features that allow users to solve complex business questions regarding organizational data. Users are empowered via a robust semantic layer that also ensures they have controlled and secure information success. This reduces the report backlog and ensures business decisions are made in a timely manner. This solution suite supports on-going projects for current and future Systalex customers who need access to information in a network centric architecture.
The Systalex BI Suite includes: Business Objects 6.5.1, Informatica PowerMart 6.1, and Oracle 9.2.0.5. These tools are running on Dell 2650 PowerEdge servers with OS Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition.
